POLITICAL HEGEMONY
HEAD OF REGIONAL ELECTIONS IN SOUTH SULAWESI

This
aims of the study were to analyze text construction Pilgub 2013 and practices
political economy discourse of Harian Rakyat Sulsel, Tribun Timur and Sindo News
Paper, to analyze trend of media construction on voter behavior in Pilgub 2013.
This
was a qualitative research with Norman Fairclough critical approach models.
Sources of data in the form a review of situational Governor Election 2013,
Internal and external factors that affect the pattern of media routines and
documentation text in a reduction in 2012 to 2013.
The
results of the research indicated that CDA in three local media, tended to make
the candidate instrument of political campaigns. Rakyat Sulsel was interpreted
to favor the SYL, Tribun Timur for IAS and the Koran Sindo was more interested
in the uniformity of political issues, of the three candidates, and political
economy practice of thee three local media tended to have relation to political
elite and certain political parteis, the news proportion was tendentions and
the resource persons were more politicians than more neutral academics. Media construction
presented in primordialism behavior, domination Syl on ethnicity and Aziz on
group of Muslim, rational voters calculative domination support excellent
programs Syl and development works IAS, emotional behavior shows relations
between political actors, religious leaders, traditional leaders and society
leaders and voters of social groups social KNPI and KPPSI as interested
organizations.
